WHO CAN ENROLL
Eligible applicants
- Humanities & Social Sciences Graduates: Candidates who have earned a minimum of 180 ECTS credits in humanities and social sciences fields.
- Other Scientific Fields: Candidates with 180 ECTS credits (or equivalent) from other academic disciplines.
- Note: Admission is subject to evaluation by the Admissions Committee. Based on your undergraduate background, the committee may prescribe 15 to 60 additional ECTS credits in differential obligations (e.g., taking differential exams, attending mandatory preparatory courses, etc.).
Deadlines and Procedure:
Enrollment is conducted in two intake periods: Summer and Autumn.
Summer Intake (First Round):
- Application submission: June 15 to July 31, 2026
- Candidate interviews (online): August 20 to August 25, 2026
- Notification of results: September 1, 2026
Autumn Intake (Second Round):
- Application submission: September 1 to September 20, 2026
- Candidate interviews (online): September 20 to September 22, 2026
- Notification of results: September 23, 2026
Final Enrollment:
- Enrollment Dates: September 24 and 25, 2026
- Location: In person at the Student Affairs Office (Referada) of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
- Mandatory Requirement: To successfully enroll, you must present your undergraduate degree diploma or an official institutional document confirming your graduation.

Applications can be hand-delivered directly to the Registry Office of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences:
- Floor/Room: Ground floor, Room D-01
- Office Hours: 09:00 – 14:00 (Daily break: 11:00 – 11:30)
- Important Note: Always request a physical confirmation receipt proving your application has been officially registered.
Required Documentation
All applicants must provide the following items:
- Academic Records:
- A BA diploma and an official transcript of grades (listing all exams passed up to the date of application) or a comprehensive Diploma Supplement. (Documents must be issued in either English or Croatian).
- Note: Nostrification (academic recognition) is strictly mandatory for all diplomas earned outside the European Union (non-EU).
- Motivation Letter: Written in English, ranging between 500 and 1,000 words.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Prepared in English using a format of your choice. Ensure it includes full contact details (permanent address, mobile phone number, and active email address).
- Identification: A copy of a valid National ID card or Passport.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency: A minimum of a B2 level is required. The following certificates and proofs are accepted:
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 72–94
- Cambridge English Scale: Minimum score of 160–179
- Institutional Exam: A certificate showing a minimum B2 level obtained from the Center for Foreign Languages at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb.
- Official proof of having fully completed a BA degree program entirely taught in the English language.
Tuition Fees and Financials
- Tuition Fee Amount: €3,800.00 per academic year.
- Payment Methods: Payable either as a single lump-sum or divided into two equal semester installments.
