Course objectives: Mastering basic translation techniques by using simpler texts in the chosen language of SE Europe. Improving understanding of the chosen language of SE Europe; acquisition of certain automatisms
used in translation; use of authentic materials in the selected language of Southeast Europe, in which, with the active participation of students, work is done to clarify language difficulties and find equivalents and understand
the selected language of Southeast Europe.
Enrolment requirements and/or entry competences required for the course:
Successful finishing of Languages of Southeast Europe 3: Translation seminar 1.
Learning outcomes at the level of the programme to which the course contributes:
Proper use of the language structures of one non-native standard language of Southeast Europe at the level of A1 to B1 according to ZEROJ
Expected learning outcomes at the level of the course:
(1) Understand, listen to, read and orally interpret simpler texts in the chosen language of Southeast Europe
(2) Use basic translation techniques on examples of texts in the selected language of Southeast Europe
(3) Recognize basic grammatical features and categories at the phonological, morphosyntactic level
(4) Activate the acquired language knowledge and improve the understanding of modern language

(7) Repetition of processed material. Grammatical peculiarities of languages in use.
